Terms of Use
These draft terms describe the intended rules for using M&M. They require legal review before they replace the versioned Terms presented inside the application.
Educational purpose
M&M is educational study material for surgical training and board review. It is not a clinical decision system and does not provide patient-specific diagnosis, treatment or medical advice.
Users remain responsible for professional judgment, supervision, current clinical guidance and local policy in every patient-care setting.
Accounts
Users must provide accurate registration information, keep sign-in credentials confidential and notify M&M if an account may be compromised. Access may be suspended to protect the service, its content or other users.
Acceptable use
Users may access M&M for personal educational use. They must not misuse the service or interfere with its operation.
- Do not share accounts, bypass access controls or probe non-public systems.
- Do not copy, scrape, redistribute or commercially exploit the book, questions, figures or application.
- Do not use the service to provide unsafe patient-specific medical instructions.
- Do not upload malicious material or attempt to disrupt the service.
Content and intellectual property
The M&M name, application, review content, original diagrams and presentation are protected materials. Access gives the user a limited personal right to use the service; it does not transfer ownership or publication rights.
Third-party material remains subject to its source attribution and applicable rights.
Annual subscription
The planned consumer membership is an auto-renewing annual subscription sold through Apple. Apple will present the current price, renewal terms and cancellation controls before purchase. The M&M website does not collect payment-card details or provide a separate checkout.
The App Store listing is not active yet. Nothing on this website is an offer to charge the user before that listing exists.
Availability and changes
M&M may correct, update, add, withhold or retire material through its governed release process. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security or circumstances outside reasonable control.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or ended for misuse, security risk, legal requirements or breach of these terms. Users may stop using the service and may request account deletion through the application.
